Bad Good

Features

  • 16 mm blade width — ideal for many general tasks in cabinetry and furniture.
  • Hardened, bevel-ground steel blade for edge durability and sharper cuts.
  • Comfortable grip handle to maintain control during extended use.
  • Factory sharpened bevel so it’s ready to use out of the box.

Benefits

  • Versatile tool: fits a variety of tasks from rough shaping to fine cleanup work.
  • Better control: wide enough to remove material yet narrow enough for precision.
  • Smoother finish: sharp steel reduces tear-out and reduces need for sanding.

Extra Information

  • Use light, steady cuts when paring; refrain from heavy hammering unless the chisel is rated for it.
  • Always cut with the bevel facing your intended movement to reduce tear-out on timber.
  • Strop or hone periodically during use, especially when you feel drag or loss of cut sharpness.

Pro Tip

  • When cleaning out grooves or rebates, angle the chisel slightly and make gentle passes to avoid gouging.
  • For tricky glue or old material, use the 16 mm as a balancing width — remove bulk with it, then refine with narrower chisels.
