Features

  • Tungsten-carbide tipped bits — for durability and clean entry in glass and tile surfaces.
  • Sizes included: 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm — covers most common small-hole needs in tile/glass work.
  • No hammer action required — designed for smooth, controlled drilling in brittle surfaces and tile/glass substrates.
  • Work at low speed (recommended max 500 rpm) to ensure optimal performance and avoid cracking in glass/tile.

Benefits

  • Cleaner holes: The carbide tip and correct geometry help reduce chipping or cracking around the entry point in tile or glass.
  • Suitable for multiple materials: Works in glass, mirrors, ceramic tiles, marble and similar brittle surfaces — nice versatility for tilers or joiners.
  • Good value set: Having 5 sizes in one pack reduces the need to buy individual bits — good for site or trade tool-kits.
  • Improved job-site control: No hammer action means more control, easier mounting, less risk of shatter — good for professional work.

Extra Information

  • Secure the workpiece firmly (tile or glass) before drilling and use a backing board if possible to reduce splintering or breakout.
  • Use low speed (max ~500 rpm) and moderate feed rate—too fast or pushing too hard may crack the tile or glass.
  • If drilling through tile into a wall substrate, once you penetrate the tile switch to a masonry bit for the deeper substrate to avoid damaging the tile bit.

Pro Tip

  • Use a small piece of masking tape on the surface where you’ll begin drilling—this can help stabilise the bit and reduce wander when starting on smooth tile or glass.

Safety

  • Wear eye protection and gloves when drilling tiles or glass—chips and fragments can be sharp.
  • Secure the workpiece and clamp down to avoid movement—glass or tile shifting during drilling can cause breakage or injury.
  • Use low to moderate speed drilling and avoid hammer or impact function; ensure drill is perpendicular and feed is steady.
